▶️ Justice x Tame Impala - "One Night/All Night"
Each time Justice drops new material feels damn exciting. But this time it’s history in the making. Justice, the iconic French house duo of Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé, surprised us with a collab with Kevin Parker from Tame Impala. "One Night/All Night" is dark, rhythmic, and genre fuid with disgustingly beautiful and trippy visuals 🫀. This track is promoting Justice’s long-awaited (the first in 8 years), upcoming album "Hyperdrama" which will arrive on 26th of April 2024. It may be a solid candidate for the best album of the year ✞ Can’t wait for Spring!
“We wanted this track to sound as if a dark/techno iteration of Justice had found a sample of a disco iteration of Kevin Parker. Kevin has a sense of melody that’s fascinating in the sense that he manages to write melodies that feel both simple and natural, but very peculiar at the same time. This song oscillates between pure electronic music and pure disco but you never really get the two at the same time. This very idea of switching instantly from a genre to another within a song runs through the whole record, and is maybe showcased the clearest in ‘One Night/All Night.'”

▶️ Chinese Man feat. Stogie T, KT Gorique & FP - "Too Late"
I've been listening to these guys since the "Ordinary Man", 00’s mixtapes times. It’s awesome to see that they’re still creating fresh tunes. French trip hop is a thing that I have a huge sentiment for.
6 years after their last album the French collective returns with "Too Late". It sounds deliciously olschool, but still it’s mixed with with many current elements. We can consider it as an appetizer before the release of Chinese Man’s new album "We've Been Here Before" expected on March 1st 2024.
Also, the music-video is well put together piece of art. I’m not much of a horse person but that one conquered my heart - so freakin’ cute! 🫶🐴
▶️ Mildlife - "Return To Centaurus"
Over 10 minutes of nostalgic sounds. Chapeau bas, Mildlife! Adam Halliwell, Kevin McDowell, Jim Rindfleish, Tomas Shanahan - these guys from Australia know how to make music that sounds like taken straight from the 70s. "Return To Centaurus" is Pink Floyd-ish, funkylicious, with yummy synths, and a bass line so sick it must make you sway your hips. It feels cosmic, psychedelic and robotic all at once. The song isn’t that new, it came out in Autumn last year, but somehow I’ve missed it. And for sure I’m thrilled that my algorithms brought me to this gem 💎
And that’s all for today. Let me know if you enjoy any of these 3, or share something you discovered this week, and particularly liked:

Have a lovely weekend!
Yours,
Wow, this might be the hardest poll to answer of all your polls so far. All three songs are amazing in completely different ways. As a fan of Midlife I had a bit of a preference for them before I played anything. But really, if I had to rate them, they’d all get 100 out of 100.
I’m not familiar with Justice but that collab with Tame Impala is an absolute banger!! I’ll be looking forward to hearing the album when it drops!
