Hiya!
I hope you had a nice week. Mine was pretty intense but fun. From the highlights - it was awesome to eat some bday cake with loved ones 🎂, manage to finish a new poster design 🖼️, or to binge-watch "Yellowstone" 🍿.
I’m excited to start this month with a bang. So let’s go!

▶️ Goth Babe - "Sun Comes Up"
This track from Goth Babe's latest album, "Lola" (2024), is an absolute favorite of mine. It's a delightful blend of dreamy vibes, cheerful melodies, and an overall infusion of positive energy. What truly captivates me is how Griffin Washburn, the creative force behind Goth Babe's alias, seamlessly weaves his life into the music. In every song, you can sense the joy and freedom of a nomadic spirit, accompanied by an authentic and transparent message that resonates beautifully. Listening to Goth Babe's music is like embarking on a sonic journey that not only elevates your mood but also connects you to the genuine essence of Washburn's experiences, making each track a memorable and immersive adventure. I L-O-V-E it! 🫶
Goth Babe is Griff Washburn enjoying himself. Originally from Tennessee, Griff currently lives in a Tiny House with his pup Sadie in the mountains of Washington. When not on the road touring, Griff and Sadie are off enjoying the outdoors in the great Pacific Northwest. Snow, surf, and trails are plenty to occupy them in their offseason.
Griff has seemed to have picked up on the brighter parts of life. Parting ways with social status and relevance, he's discovered how wonderful living day by day is. Making music to Griff is less a climb to the top, as it is a form of free thinking and enjoyment.
▶️ Skepta feat. Ossie, Harry Stone - "Smoke In Your Eyes"
This dark, and electric track blew my mind this week 🤯 I adore such deep 90’s house vibes. In my opinion, Skepta never disappoints. He’s not just a rapper with razor-sharp lyrics. This king of the UK music scene has a true talent for creating infectious, and magnetic beats in a unique, genre-defying style, constantly pushing music boundaries. The beat in here hits harder than a London downpour 🌧️
▶️ N8NOFACE - "View From Here"
From the first moment I heard this one it conquered my heart. It’s kind of raw, chaotic, soaked with punk, synths, and nostalgia. And raspy vocals are definitely the thing that I love ❤️🔥 I’m new to N8NOFACE’s music, but already excited to dive into his creations.
▶️ Midland - "Final Credits"
Whoa, what an absolute gem from the electronic music realm! Special thanks here to Mateusz, who shared this banger with me 🤗 This track, released in 2016, is like a musical time capsule, with its infectious groove and feel-good vibes. Crafted by the talented British DJ and producer, Midland (Harry Agius), "Final Credits" is the kind of tune that effortlessly lifts your spirits and transports you to a dance floor paradise. It's no wonder this track has become a cherished anthem, spreading joy and good vibes wherever it plays. Get ready to be hooked by the catchy melody and let it take you on a euphoric journey! 🚀
