Hey there,
It was a really busy week for me, and sadly I wasn’t able to find much time to search for new sounds. So today’s issue is short, but hopefully, gold 👑.
Let’s get to it!

▶️ Infinity Song - "Metamorphosis"
This week YouTube suggested me their "Slow Burn". It clicked, so I needed to hear more, and stumbled upon "Metamorphosis". It’s a cozy, nostalgic, and partly relatable one, that resonates with me equally on the lyrical and musical level ✨. My favorite one from the group’s new album - "Infinity Song Essentials" (2024).
Drawing from R&B, soul, and gospel influences, Infity Song's music reflects their tight-knit, brother-sister bond and shared experiences performing together since childhood. As I found out, they are quite recognizable, loved by Jay-Z himself, with hundreds of millions of views on TikTok, mainly because of the single "Hater’s Anthem", that went viral last year.
▶️ Ghost Funk Orchestra - "Again"
Ghost Funk Orchestra is an enigmatic musical ensemble from New York City that brings a unique blend of vintage funk, soul, and psychedelic vibes to their track "Again". I love how groovy and soulful it is. The energy in this one feels infectious and has a lovely nostalgic charm to it. The instrumentation and intricate arrangements are truly captivating and draw you into a damn hypnotic groove 🔥. Can’t wait to dive deep into the group’s discography!
And that would be almost all for today.

Thanks for stopping by, reading, and listening. It’s awesome to have you here 🫶. Let me know if you stumbled upon some musical gems yourself this week. I love these moments when you share a bit of your world with me too.
Wishing you a great weekend!

I can relate to being busy. It seems like I’m a week behind you with my busy period (unless you’re still busy). A wonderful way to start the weekend sitting down with a coffee and catching up with my Substack reading. Both these artists are new for me and it was a tough choice because they’re both so great. But it was Ghost Funk Orchestra for the win. I’m looking forward to investigating their music, thanks for the intro!
